Our designs are custom designed art work. Therefore reflect in all instances the artist/designers imput and artistic influence. Images are sent to the client to show the beginning stages of the bouquet. However we allow for one change and extra changes incur charges. Please ensure your design brief is comprehensive.
We aim to provide you with as much detail on my designs as possible via our terms and conditions and FAQ. Our designs are made from vintage products, therefore are not always perfect. Design Me Vintage (DMV) takes great pride in ensuring the items we use are of the highest quality considering their age and history. Pricing
Design Me Vintage is not registered for GST. Therefore GST is not added to our prices. All our prices are in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Cancellation of Order:
All orders can be cancelled at any time with four months prior notice to postage or delivery date, with a full refund less the initial 50 % booking deposit.
Hours of business
Design Me Vintage is open Monday to Friday. We will answer all enquiries via email within one week ~ usually sooner but we have experienced ongoing issues with our telstra big pond as this is the only service we can get in our area due to apparent black spots. ( business days only). Messaging via our facebook page has proven reliable.
Phone enquiries – if unavailable please leave a message and we will return your call with in 1 business day.
Our phones are turned off on weekends and after 5pm weekdays.
Payment and bookings
Bookings
Design Me Vintage book by the week , not by the exact Date. We take a limited amount per week, due to the intense work we put into each design. Please book as far in advance as possible. We take bookings one year in advance at present..
Brooches supplied
We encourage you to supply any items that you may wish to add. However DMV does not take any responsibility in any form of these items . Expensive and valuable items we strongly recommend you register and insure with Australia Post. ONce items are received by DMV, DMV take no responsibilty for the condition or the return of them to you. These are sent completely at your own risk. DMV endeavour in all instances to care and ensure these valuable items are well cared for and kept in a safe place.
Bespoke (custom) orders:
50% non-refundable deposit is to be made to secure the date, and to enable Design Me Vintage begin your bouquet. It can take a number of weeks to source the perfect brooches your bouquet, please allow a minimum of 30 weeks prior to your wedding day. Design Me Vintage collaborate with clients to ensure a stunning bouquet is created just for her. We do this via our Design Brief which is emailed out upon booking. Links, pictures can be emailed, or posted to assist with forming the perfect bouquet for you.
A vast majority of our brooches and treasures used, are vintage or up cycled and therefore may have small amounts of marks and wear to them. Design Me Vintage ensures that we have considered any preloved wear on them in using them within your bouquet. If you would like a bouquet made solely with new brooches please note this in the design brief. (Extra cost will occur). We use a mix of old and not so old brooches. However many brooches are over 30 years old and this is reflected in their style and wear and tear these are all up-+cycled into your bouquet.
Your design brief out lines colours and style you would like, as this is a bespoke design, it is designed as a piece of art from the designers imagination. All effort is made to ensure your brief is met with the artist’s vision and Design Me Vintage’s integrity of design.
Design Me Vintage retains all rights to withhold from utilising design brief or client request is they feel it diminishes from the integrity of design and the reputation and artistic vision of the individual artist/designer.
It is the responsibility of the client to keep the Design Me Vintage informed of any changes you wish to make to your brief immediately. All effort will be made to accommodate this if at all possible. No repsonsiblity is taken by Design Me Vintage if Client has not notified in writing changes to the design brief. No changes made after 3 months from date of event will not be accepted.
All brooches supplied to by you, must be delived to Design Me Vintage 2 months out from Delivery Date . A maximum of 8 brooches supplied by client at no cost. Extra will incur a $3.00 charge per brooch. Please contact Design Me Vintage for address to post these too.
Changes in design once made .. with a minimum of 2 once bouquet build has started.
In most cases we wire ahead of time, however we do not assemble until a week or so prior to delievery thus allowing for some flexiablity in design, new stock which may arrive. It is at this time if requested we send images. However we do stress that our photography skills are not professional, and without exception the bouquets look 100 x better in person. Design Me Vintage prefer to send video of the bouquet at this stage to the client.
Forms of payment accepted
Direct Bank Deposit : is preferred. Paypal will incur additional charges.
PayPal : is available on request and will incur subsequent PayPal charges.. as of January 2012 are 6.9% (subject to change without notice)
A email invoice will be sent to you for payments including deposit and PayPal We will confirm your payment once it has cleared into our bank. (Business days only)
Refunds.
Pre-designed Bouquet Refunds are given (less postage) when is returned undamaged or used in original postage and packaging to PO Box 833, Paddington Qld 4065. Within 5 days of receipt and BEFORE wedding date given to Design Me Vintage. Design Me Vintage must be contacted within 5 days of receiving your Brooch Bouquet and advised of any problems.
Please phone within 24 hours of receipt of goods to discuss any issues
Bespoke / Custom orders - No refund is offered if you are not satisfied with your design, as this has been designed especially for you and is an interpretation of your design brief. .
Shipping
All our products are registered with Australian Post , your signature will be required upon delivery and a tracking number and insurance is included with the postage costs if sent registered, postage is determined with DMV and Client. .
Design Me Vintage take no responsibility for items once they are in the hands of Australia Post.
International orders and shipping
International shipping. :~ It is the responsibility of the client to ensure all import/export fees, customs, taxes are paid. Design Me Vintage can take no responsibility for these.
At Design Me Vintage we welcome overseas orders, additional charges will apply for international orders, we will contact you to advice of shipping costs , or alternatively you can contact us at isabellaarmstrong@live.com Please be aware, Australia post does not insure international items. However these will be sent via registered post. Design Me Vintage does NOT ship to ITALY. As above Design Me Vintage takes no responsibility for items once they are in the hands of postal services.
Security and Privacy
Design Me Vintage will never trade, lease or sell your name, email address or other personal information without your prior consent.
Email and mailing lists are managed and maintained in house, we respect your privacy and will not send email to you unless you ask to receive it. (We have no hidden tick boxes)
