Why Use Design Me Vintage
Design Me Vintage not only has a stella reputation from brides world wide and many many bouquets made under its belt, we have managed to give our bouquets a two dimensional feel. When looking at a bouquet you will see layers of them , not just a few outer brooches sitting on ribbons.
Our cost reflect the true cost of a bouquet, they reflect the care and attention we put on to our bouquets, and the quality materials we use. We do not use polystyrene or fillers, or cheaper craft store products, and source brooches that are not alloy, and tarnish with a year or so.
Brides adore our bouquets because of the details and our ability to match colour schemes.
How long does it take to make a bouquet?
The most time consuming process and my favorite is the collecting of the brooches for the bouquets. In general the minimum is 30 weeks . Due to sourcing of brooches. However the longer I have the better the choices available when collecting special and unique treasures for your bouquet. We can not make a couture bouquet with less than 30 weeks notice. Assembling of brooches individually is an ongoing continual process , but the building of your bouquet happens only a few weeks before delivery date.
** Please note.. We have brides ordering there bouquets a year in advance. So spaces fill up very quickly so please be aware of this . Due to this we work on an application process to establish a good fit for both ourselves and your desired bouquet.

Please contact me via the contacts page, from there we have a conversation with you (via our design brief) about themes, colours, and time frames, costs, an invoice is sent with payment details, a questionnaire, full terms and conditions are on our website.
Pricing
Design Me Vintage offers a large variety of pricing and styles. We can create different sizes and styles signature rounded bouquet or a more Fabric and ribbon bouquet. To reduce some costs and add a softness to the bouquet, fabric flowers can be added. These synthetic flowers enhance the bouquet and still allow it to be an instant heirloo
Our pricing structure fits many budgets. Besides the cost and time that Isabella pays for the dozens of pieces both vintage , new and unique that will go into your bouquet, Isabella spends many weeks or months sourcing brooches communicating with her clients - particuarlly as the time draws near . You are also paying for her time, and for unlimited communication. You can feel confident that she will devote the time to you to make you feel comfortable as she designs your bouquet
As each bride need and style are different we quote on a case by case affair. Design Me Vintage average price for our signiture and beautiful free-form dome is $550 with most brides spending $600.00. Our prices reflect the true cost involved in making a bouquet of our quality, our attention to the building of your bouquet is world class. As well as insuring pieces do not tarnish or diminish with time.
The average cost of a flower wedding bouquet is $350.00 and last approx 3 - 5 days while your on your honeymoon. Preserved small bouqeut is $450.00 can not be handed down the aisle again.
I am on a tight budget can you still help ?
We can not offer "budget bouquets", however many brides opt for a payment / layby in order to get their bouquet. Or have more ribbon, synthetic pieces added to bring the cost down. We encourage you still to contact and discuss these options.
What colours and themes can I have?
This is entirely up to you, I can make a brooch bouquet in any style and colour that you would like, as long as it reflects our high standard of design.
Many brides email me or even post me samples of colours, from swatches to ribbons, paint cards. this gives me a really good feel for their colours, ideas and themes. I love to be creative with my designs and enjoy this style as well. If you would like say peach and grey and do not post a colour swatch, we can not guaranttee matching. As images via the internet differ in each computer screen.
Are all the brooches vintage?
The majority of brooches I use are from the 1940's to the 1970's, however we do use new jewellery, up-cycle buttons, watch faces, pearls and other bits and pieces if they are of a quality and look that suits the overall design of the brooches. Some of the brooches used in our couture range are named and marked, such as Sarah Coventry , Coro, Wiess or ART, etc. and are valued at over $40 per brooch. These particular brooches will only increase in value both sentimental and cost as time goes by. As these beautiful heirlooms are vintage they do show some wear and tear, which only adds to thier charm.
Can the brooches be removed?
Every effort is made to ensure the brooches and other treasures are added in such a way so each can be removed with out harming the brooch. However there are some that may be in need of repair or that extra bit of fixing to form their 'stems'.
Can I view brooches
I prefer to wait until we assemble and show you a video of your bouquet as this way I can talk you through the look, but understand the need for you to be very happy. Often seeing a bunch of brooches doesn't paint the beauty I can see. Every bouquet has its own personality and assembling them is like having a giant jigsaw and slowly finding out what fits. Upon request we will.
Can I supply my own brooches?
Yes of course. However we use discretion to not use them if we feel they may be damaged or not withstand our process. If you send over 10 brooches we charge $3.00 per brooch to stem.
Many brides use family heirloom brooches from Grand parents and even Great Grandparents, to mums and bridesmaids/ Friends brooches which can be incorportated into almost any bouquet or added to brooches I have for your bouquet.
Every effort is taken to not damage in any way your family heirlooms. (Although Design Me Vintage is unable to take responsibility for these items, their transit nor their final use in the design. )

Absolutely. All international shipments are posted via registered Australian post. I have never had an issue with posting via Australian post and wrap bouquets very securely. I will ship your bouquet with the expectation of them arriving an minimum of two weeks prior to your big day. Although we can take no responsibility for off shore charges or internal postal services in your country.
