The Colours of Spring just burst out dont they. Bright yellow Daffidols, Runuculous, pop out from thier beds. Our bridal designers are inspired to translate this into thier dresses, bouquets, accessories. I had so much fun sourcing these pictures to inspire you. My focus was the stronger tones, and a dress in my Inpsiration Board from Mckenzie Mode ~ one of my lovely brides is considering this for her bridesmaids... I love it!
Below is a stunning dress by Mckenzie Mode (based in Bondi Sydney) I love the bateaux neckline so reminecent of Audrey Hepburn with the cut and fabric of a Stepford Wife, its one of my favorite finds.. and may well make this months list!

And now for something completely differnent! (below)
Above this is a gorgeous idea, and also makis a perfect gift for the birdsmaid.  Love the colours the mix of bright yellow and soft pink, and again a brighter cerise pink works a treat!

I can not tell you how excited  I am to present our Far East Fusion Series ~ what is Far East Fusion I hear you say? Far East fusion is a blending and borrowing the best from all these beautiful cultures with ours. I am proud to be of Chinese heritage with my Great Grandfather and Grandmother working the gold fields of the west coast of New Zealand. I pay honor to their strength and hard work with this series....

Dress
(Above) This vintage styled  wedding dress is heavily influenced by the chinese with its simple clean lines and  mandering collar and capped sleeves. (Below) I absolutely adore the fusion of korean "hanbok" and the western styled  wedding dress ~ more photos and details in "Part Two" of these stunning and simply gorgeous Hanbok dresses ~ promise!

Atmosphere
:

( Below) Naturally I could not go pass the beautiful Chinese Lanterns, used in all their festivals and celebrations ~ and their beauty when displayed is perfect inclusion in any wedding ironically  we use candles and tea lights in small paperbags similar to these lanterns and in place of them,  these luminairas are a common tradition in Hispanic communities during Christmas

Cherry blossoms ( below) feature in the Far East from Japan, China to Korea, adding this  element in anyway to your day can show case this beautiful elegant part of Asia.

From Invitation's touched with cherry blossoms and Japanese caligraphy  ( above) to buffets with fortune cookies and sushi. These  elements  of the Far East are easily infused into weddings and celebrations in a variety of way. Below are paper parasols placed simply in drinks, or used as part of the cermony.

Who can forget the wonderful art of Oragami, This equisite Lotus flower would stand its own as any centerpeice at a wedding. Adding  oragami cranes to your cake, hanging from string can also add the Far East in a whimsical way.

Above are all key elements to consider incorporating into your wedding if considering this theme.
Until our next Far East Fusion ~ Part two . We hope you can leave us with some ideas or suggestions for our next article....
