Stage the outdoors.
From long and expansive verandahs where your imagination can run amuck to Even a small home which has only a teensy postage stamp–size verandah lay it up with a cute café table and chairs, a cheerful tablecloth and even a little tray of dishes or a vase of flowers.
And with a larger verandah detaiing it into rooms to allow for intimate settings using these same ideas mentioned earlier.
When people look at this scene, they won't be thinking "small" or "impersonal" they will be thinking, "What a charming spot to have breakfast!"

Maison de Style Vintage
There are so many things about vintage I love. The upcycling of vintage finds, the use of baskets, bottles, linens, brooches (of course) into new and classic items. From open cupboards, to friendly alcoves filled with useful finds. I have put together a few of my favorite styling finds, looks for your home and life I wanted to share. Sometimes its just nice to take a break from the day. Grab a latte and relax.
My home is scattered with baskets, I use them instead of drawers for almost anything, I love grey wicker with leather handles. I love the use of green and red, currently my favorite colours for this year. Who said its a christmas colour! This charming linen cupboard is eyecatching and functional.
Shabby Chic is often defined by the use of pinks, and roses in almost every place you can find. I love the use of the old kitchen table battered by baking and bits knocked out here and there tell of the stories it has. I love the stool and the use of different heights of tables to create unique workspaces. This quaint country kitchen epitomises a vintage home with shabby chic influences.
Now who doesnt enjoy a bubble bath, especially the deep claw footed kind. My favourite bubbles are the Blue Clouds and White Fluffy Clouds, this wonderful scented bubble bath is frothing and relaxes you like only grown up bubbles give you! from LUSH..mmmm. Naturally sipping on a good NZ Malbourough white wine and listening to Michael Buble!
I've always admired the American bathrooms , typically large and spacious with chairs and dressers , loads of natural light from large windows. Lace curtains and candles with beautiful bottles to line your shelves with beautiful vintage bottles.
